What is CIRTL at IUPUI?
Launching in Fall 2016, the CIRTL at IUPUI learning community will consist of graduate students, postdocs, and faculty in STEM and ot \her disciplines. They will engage in the discussion and development of reflective and evidence-based teaching approaches using strategies that leverage studentand instructordiversity and shared learning experiences.Participants in this program can earn recognition for achieving the CIRTL Program OutcomesofAssociate, Practitioner, and Scholarby completing various local and cross-network programming. Digital badges for each outcome level will be awarded through afree andself-pacedCIRTL coursein Canvas in which students and postdocs can self-enroll in October 2016. Students can use thesedigitalbadges on their CVs and in online career networking tools to showcasetheir CIRTL accomplishments toprospective employers. 
Note: Many of CIRTL's cross-network offerings are STEM specific, but CIRTL at IUPUI encourages graduate students, postdocs, and faculty from other disciplines to take advantage of the general resources and programming on teaching and learning offered through CIRTL.
